Creative Writing it has no title

No one can hear it but I'm screaming inside

A comparison to the dark, flickers of joy provide

People all around, but no one is really there to me

Harbor to the storm, naught but chaos none can see

Far beyond the surface a monster rages on incredibly fierce

Swirling in the deepest of darkness that no light can pierce

For every good thing done, twenty-one are wrong

Insecurity, every step is faltering, every path is long

If I had the key to cure all ills, It's already too late

If I were the best at something, I'd still be second rate

It would be my fault if somehow the world were to end

I would still be alone even in the embrace of a friend

No one knows it, but deep inside I am crying

No one thinks about it, but even wingless birds dream of flying





Just for reference I wrote this on the night I graduated.
