Inu-Yasha jakotsu atraction

Possibly because some may see it as discriminatory to gay people, or more likely because people don't usually enjoy seeing bashing threads specifically made for their favorite character (I realize this isn't a bashing thread, but it certainly has the potential to be). Also you have the option (when creating a poll) to set a timeline regarding when the poll should close, so it was entirely the choice of whoever created this thread (I think Zero Enna?) and she wasn't held accountable to us, especially as this thread is over a year old and she's banned anyway so let's just put all this behind us and talk about what a babe Jakotsu is! ^_^


Gay people 500 years ago, hm? I haven't actually taken the time out to ponder it, but I suppose its to be expected. After all there were obviously straight people 500 years ago, and most gay people find it completely natural to be gay, as natural as any straight person would find ....well, being straight. It's likely that gay people have been around for quite awhile, possible since the beginning of the human race itself. I certainly haven't got a clue (but do I ever? ^_^) so either way, well....JAKOTSU RULES!

 

Personaly, i don't think that gay people are bad. i have nothing against them. I happen to know "zero_enna" and she said she had no problem with them.

Jakotsu Isn't my most favorite character, but he's not the least. I like him for his humor.

I find Jakotsu highly amusing and kinda cute, actually. He provides comic relief while at the same time kicking some pretty serious butt.

Unfortunately, I haven't exactly formed my opinion on his character much beyond that. It's been a while since I last watched Inuyasha, so I need to do some fairly serious catch up work. Still, these things happen.

As for why the poll is closed...Zero Enna probably set a short time limit without meaning to, and since she's no longer a member of the boards, nothing has been done to change the state of the poll. I'm not going to reopen it; people can discuss characterization and why they like (or dislike) the character without the poll section of this thread.

yea, well not everyone is in support with people being gay and all. They might just not like it or it's against their religion. But people can also call him sick for what he does to males if he thinks they're cute...i feel sorry for those guys *shakes head* what a way to die...

 

Jakostu

Well I have to begin by saying that I have no problem with gay people. And as for Jakostu I think his character is rather amusing. For the record I don't think there has been another gay character on the show, so Jakotsu brings his own charisma into the show. I also think that it makes the entire group of guys seem even more interesting. When you look closely, almost everybody in that group, has some kind of problem or should I say characteristic. We got a greedy one, a pervert, and the list goes on (the one that got a hold of Kagome). So in all Jakostu is a rather interesting and cool character.

 

i believe there was another guy...he was a demon too O.O he wore all red, and had crazy red hair, and acted really girlish, which was really cute...he only lasted for about 2 episodes though...i just can't pinpoint his name right now...it was when Hojo from the past meets up with the IY gang again *first time they meet Hojo was in the second movie* and there was this demon holding a big grudge cause he thought his old human girlfriend betrayed him.

*LOL* Well I did too at first (when I was a wee lil lasse without an inkling of a clue), either because of his oh-so-spiffy clothing (I seriously want that robe of his! Erm, preferably when he isn't wearing it, though), or because of his hairdo/definitively female legs. But yes, Jakotsu *is* gay, which is why Miroku didn't exactly jump at the chance to take him up on his offer......

I have to agree with you jakotsu chan! Jakotsu is one of the funniest characters ever! My friend is joining soon and she really loves Jakotsu. (She see's you everywhere) I love his yukara. (sp?) It shows off his leg. He's funny. I love it when he pouts.
