    Attacks on humans by Asiatic black bears are apparently becoming more frequent in Japan, especially in the Tohoku and Hokuriku areas, with one person dead and 77 injured in 18 prefectures from April to Oct 7.

    A shortage of tree nuts due to typhoon...
