    I know since most of you here have watched anime that was directly subbed from TV tokyo, so you must have seen at least one or two commercials. What are some of your favourites?

    I can't get enough of the Guybrave commercial :
    "HERO, POWER, ACTION, BATTLE. ADUWA HERO-A IBA KOKONI, GUYBRAVE HA-SHIN!!!"

    Or the 5/8th chips commercial.


    And I've gotta say that tv tokyo had (has?) a lot of Playstation commercials!

    Well, The commercial is on like every commercial break on those Kenshin tapes (3+). And you would have busted my chops if I quoted it wrong [​IMG]

    WHy'd ya have to go and bring GuyBrave into this anyhow...I found it to be the most annoying commercial I've ever seen...

    BakaMattSu, now the "Skip Cows" had potential...

    Haven't seen too many commercials, but you have to love the fansub (It was a love hina ep I think) with scrolling japanese text at the bottom that the subbers identified as a real life earthquake warning

    yup, 'twas Love Hina alrightey! I also enjoyed the one explaining how Love Hina would air a different time/date the following week...

    Really, fansubbers must have fun turning some of those commercials into engrish. They could change it to make more sense but there isn't any fun in that :p The greatest of which were in the Sailor Moon live action... I love the McDonald's one: "I'll always be watching you.. especially when you're in the bathroom" and "EVIL KITTY EVIL KITTY!"

    I LOVE JAPANESE COMMERCIALS! They're hilarious! I recall one about noodles called "BAM." And it showed all of these people eating a bite and dropping dead. It was great! XD

    I saw a few on WMBC (I have now Idea what it is but it is funny somtimes) while I was watching a Japanese soap-opera I saw on for oil and one for an airline they were funny.

    nothing will ever beat the mcdonalds commercials...the one on our smj fansubs is great, what with grimace being blown up and shot around the planet heheh

    there are a few hilarious commercials in the Sailor Moon Live episode 1. they are parody I assume. the McDonald's one I laughed so hard, there's Ronald making a girl feel special, skipping rope with her, then his voice says, as he looks from a mountain, "I'll always be watching you...especially when you are in the bathroom". ~ Makudonarudo

    2 minute after edit: Damn you Evil That Guy! just skipped your post first time.. fine then, the girl's underwear commercial! 'Pantsu Faito! Pantsu Faito! Guaranteed pre-worn by a predolicious girl like her.'
