Actually, I don't watch too much, but I did like S.O.S. - Strawberry on the Shortcake.

I do enjoy the occassional episode, when I get my hands on one though.

What I reallik liked was Kamen Rider, though not exactly J-Drama, it was more intense the the power ranger stuff you see here. Which is pretty darn cool!

I occasionally watched Japanese dramas, but that was years ago. Did you remember the one about the man and woman who accidentally started emailing each other? (the man created music for commercials, and accidentally emailed a song to the woman by accident, and they end up writing back and forth to each other) Seemed like an interesting show (and this was before that American movie "You Got Mail"), but I didn't see that many episodes.

Then there was the one about the short-haired, happy girl who wanted to be a carpenter. She was the youngest one in the group, messed up a lot, etc. And one of the older carpenters confessed that ever since he had a dream about her, he was in love with her! That's all I remembered, cuz I only saw the first few episodes.

Did you ever see Futarikko? (several years ago) It was about twin girls and their parents who owned a small tofu shop. The twins Reiko & Kyoko grew up (and ended up looking different), with Reiko being really smart/successful, while Kyoko was unskilled/stupid except for playing shogi (a kind of Japanese chess game). I really liked the opening theme song.

Yeah, I've seen Meteor Garden 2, but only a few episodes. It was the part where one guy seemed to have lost his memory, and had a woman help him learn who he was.

Turns out that it was also a hit show in the Philippines.
