    Japanese pop music is so neat. :glazed: All my friends and i listen to it. Its all good. :anime: ppls should try to listen to it. So there. I have no favorite artist, but if there are any really good ones, pleeze let me kno :anime:

    Well, that all depends on who you already listen to.

    A big "group" of sub-groups right now is the Morning Musume group. Then there's Gackt, and whatever. And the customary Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru, BoA, etc.

    Ther are a number of songs I favor right now. Such as "Koda Kumi - Crazy 4 U", "BoA - Double", and a few others.

    I really like JRock more though. Maybe even some visual rock bands, like Malice Mizer. I'm really into Porno Graffitti right now. Especially their "Lack" single. And of course, everybody's favorite...the pillows.

    I can't help but comment on that... perhaps we should change the board name to "Pillows talk" or something... such a concentration of fans of the great underground Japanese band the Pillows is not to be found anywhere outside a concert of theirs.. oh I want to go to one of those... *drool* only thing that'd beat that... hmm... Pillows and Pixies in concert together?

    There's a lot of great Japanese pop out there. Do As Infinity, Maaya Sakamoto and Utada Hikaru are all good examples of that.

    It all depends on what you like... some bands that have my interest lately, aside from the above... Glay, Gackt, Ulfuls, Brownie Circus, Spitz, Snail Ramp, Yuki Kajiura, Akeboshi, Asian Kung-fu Generation... wow... ok the list goes on too... but all the above get good time on my playlist.

    As mentioned before, it all depends on what kind of genre you listen to.

    There is a nice thread going on in the music forum, you should check it out. It's about "your favorite Jpop artist" ;)
