Kon'nichi wa!! Hello!!

Watakushi wa America-jin desu. Ni-jyuu-yon desu. I am American. Twenty Four years old.

That's about as far as I'm going to get with introducing myself in Japanese. :sweat2: I'm still learning. LOL Come to think of it, I'll probably ALWAYS still be learning. Ah well, such is life. If I want to go to Japan and NOT feel like a completely lost moron, I plan to learn as much as I can.

Anyway, about me, I am female, have red hair, blue eyes and lots of freckles (much to my chagrin) and I love anime. My favs are Kenshin, Inu Yasha and Naruto. (The same goes for my fav characters) I go to anime conventions dressed as Kenshin (you might've seen me at Anime Boston or Otakon if you went this past year)

Um.. let's see... what else.. Oh yeah! I'm a writer and an artist. I'm currently working on several projects, including an Inu Yasha fanfic called "Last Dance on the Edge of Eternity" and fanart that goes with the story. (That's my fun take-a-breather-from-my-own-characters project) Then there's my series of books (not yet published) called Cats Of Creation and the artwork that goes with it and I've been hired to do the illustrations for a children's book.

I also love animals, especially horses. I have a six year old Arabian Mare named Luna, six cats, 2 dogs, 2 ferrets and a rabbit.

Seraphinx - Could you explain what little mistakes you mean? I'm not insulted in the slightest but, as I said, I'm only just learning, so any help you can give would be GREATLY appreciated. I have had to go it alone thus far as I don't know anyone who speaks Japanese and I cannot afford classes. I know what you're thinking "If you can't afford classes, how can you go to Japan?" Well, I have a few inventions in the works and I'm hoping that one of them will take off. If not the inventions, then maybe my books will sell. I can't say with any certainty that either will happen, but I remain ever-hopeful.

I would be quite happy to be your deviant friend! :anime: I haven't put anything up in recent days due the fact that my computer has been in the shop for quite some time and that is where my artwork is stored. I am on my boyfriend's computer right now. I have a pic of Inu Yasha that I'm working on that you might like. It's done in cell style and I'm quite happy with how it's coming out. When I get my computer back and I can finally finish and upload it, I will let you know if you would like.

Novus - I thank you for the compliment, but I won't be a "professional" writer until I have actually gotten my books published. I have done several fanfictions for various series, but I have yet to be accepted by a publisher. What I am technically a professional at, is illustration. I have never been anyone's hero before. Thank you.

To everyone who asked me to read the rules, I have read the vast majority of them, I think. Though there doesn't seem to be a specific "Rules" section. If there is, could someone please direct me to it?

I would also like to say thank you to everyone who has welcomed me thus far and to all those who may welcome me in the future. I hope to be a contributing member to this site.

P.S - If I sound snooty, please pay it no mind. This is mearly my writing style and not how I speak in real life. I say similar things, but with far less words... :sweat2: Eh heh
