While I wasn't a real fan of his music(well country music in general), I loved his lyrics.
    They were absolute genius.

Cash was a country music god. He had the whole classic country thing going on, but he wasn't like other country singers because he didn't give in to all the rhinestones, flash and flare. His lyrics actually made a difference, too. Johnny Cash was known for always wearing black, which he said was to represent the downtrodden. He was just about the only country singer I liked.
And of course, Ring of Fire is just one of the best songs ever.

I believe that songs called "A Boy named Sue" He was great artist and even though I hate Country music he was the only man in that genre I could stand. Loved his cover of Hurt. Great man, will be missed.

My dad plays his music and I was sad to hear he died. He is like the only country I like :p He had some songs that I cant get out of my head. Also, he is so cool I think he was on the Simpsons once.

Ill pray that he is safe and in heaven

A day never goes by in my residence in which someone doesn't have some JC song or other blaring really loud. We broke out into Ring of Fire once when just walking down the hall.
