Art Kamui wallpaper

    Eh, it's okay. Don't really like the harsh contrast between the purple and yellow. And the text running along the side is just distracting from the actual art.

    it's better, way better but still[​IMG]
    if you get the two images to blend and get rid of the "Kamui" is gonna be a lot better[​IMG]

    True, a faint white strip across the borders would do nicely because those two colours are kinda hard to blend in well together. Other than that that's a fine piece of work by kamui :)

    The Kamui text
    -is too harsh in sharpness
    -as said, leads eyesight away from the picture
    -too much of a filler for a big gap

    It would've been better it part of the drawing was covered with the text, instead f having it placed in a lonely bit of space.

    Still nicee though, but the yellow/purple contrast is quite annoying if you want to use it for a background

    u know, I love it. I love the contrast between the violet and the yellow. of course they go well together. but I love it as an image not as a wallpaper. and since I crave for symmetry (I have to shoot myself) I would agree about the 'Kamui'. the text is too distracting. As well, is there a reason why you chose the light to eat at the dark? if you shift the line over a bit more in the yellow, the yellow won't look as big and overpowering.(give the violet a bit more space).

    If you would like to keep the 'Kamui' text in the artwork without people disliking it and it being too distracting, you could choose a thinner whispier text and make it smaller and longer running down the side, but black on one side, and white on the other. (like one reading kamui one way and one reading kamui the other way)

    BUT NOTE!, (in response to your question) an artist, in the process of signing his/her artwork, attempts to reveal a signature to the viewer, but conceal it in a way so that the signature does not take away from the artwork(!) are we looking at your work, or who did it ? ;)

    so.. I'll end again by saying I really like the colours and love the images you chose for this work.

    Ser: being the mod-est of art is fun! (get the pun?)

    It isnt a signature... it is the guys whos on the wallpapers name...

    He is Kamui...

    But alright... i am stating this fact again...

    We all have to start somewhere... right????

    Sorry to bring this topic up again but not really I think this picture has much meaning behind it in one half the left blue side the demon comes out and the oppisite color in which if you mix yellow and blue they make grey is yellow and the yellow has him posed as an angel the colors represent extreme opisites and so do the characters very nicely done but the whole thing with the text down the side.....first you have all different tones of black every place it is black but the letter are one solid black...try to fade the letters into the back ground then select the whole word feather 5 or so and hold shift+control then hit "I" then hit delete tell me how you like it (Note:this can only be achieved at an optimum level by doing it from your .pdf .psd ect.) tell me what you think of how it looks and if you're lost just send me the file so I can open up the layers in photoshop and show you what I mean ;) keep workin you have the right idea
