Anime Kannazuki No Mido

    Genre: Mecha, Science Fiction (I would say a small amount of comedy & drama)

    This is a small town somewhere in Japan, which is sounded by nature. In this town, there is a large and gorgeous school, Otobashi Gakuen, which was founded to make the students familiar with nature.

    This story starts off with Kurusugawa Himeko. She is a normal student who goes to Otobash Gakuen.

    She leads bright and enjoyable school days with her two friends, Himekawa Chikane and Ogami Soma. Chikane is a daughter of a distinguished family. She is excels at both studing and sports. Also, she is wise, and beautiful. Furthermore, she has familiar personality and is very popular among the other students. Ogami Soma is a Hiemoko’s childhood friend. He has problems expressing his emotion directly, but he is very sincere.

    On Himeko's 16th birthday her fate changes...


    Reminds me of Rahxephon. It could be the mysterious "sister" relationship and the "sudden" presence of the mechas, but it feels so.."rahxephonised".

    It's a pretty medicore anime for starters...but hey, it's only the first episode. KOTOKO has done it again with opening theme and the ending theme. The art looks very nice too. The mechas are detailed, and the characthers look very nice.

    It all went downhill in episode 1's last 10 minutes. I would point out all the flaws about this one but I don't feel like writing a book.

    I watched the first 3 episodes. I knew towards the end of the first episode it wasn't going to live up to my expectations.

    It started off very well though. It tried too hard and the only reason I was able to get though the third episode is because I skipped all the villain parts and I got sick and tired of that cat nurse girl. What makes me perturbed is, Oogami goes to blow them up, they run away, their mech blows up.. but I still have to see them talking away..

    I bet their mechs, which are supposed to be part of that God guy are still in working function. no way is it like RahXephon, but I at least like Miya-sama, she reminds me of Hazuki from Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito.

    edit: What's the real name if this anime? I have Kannaduki no Miko for the file name.

    I have no idea. Some say Kannazuki No Miko, some say Kannaduki no Mido...or Kannazuki no Mido o_O
