Anime Kanon

There are two Kanon out there.

1. An Hentai PC game
2. An Anime based on the game

Right now I talking about the anime and unlike it's game counterpart, the anime is a non-hentai, and a wonderfully crafted drama.

It's a story about a boy name Yuuichi Aizawa who left Japan, then returns back seven years later. When he returns every now and then a different girl appears and tells him that they were friends seven years ago. Unfortunately Yuuichi doesn't remember anything of his past, specifically what happened seven years ago, when he left Japan. Now he has to figure out what happened seven years ago, recovering little memories as he does activities with his old friends.

That's all I'll give of the story before I start writing spoilers, but this is one of some animes/movies I shed some tears on; It is such a good series, but the problem is I'm like the only person who knows of this series.

So I ask, has anyone else seen this?

 

Are you sure the game is hentai, I thought it was just a dating game. Hmm. But the anime does sound good. Is it a film or a series, or both?

 

Well from what my friend tells me, he said it's a dating simulation that gets a little ecchi and hentai-ish, but what Japanese dating simulation doesn't do that? I wouldn't know I'm not really into hentai, or dating simulations.

Anyway, it's a 13 part series (TV or OVA I don't know) and currently avalible either through fan subs or those cheap DVDs (The Hong Kong DVDs) I was able to get my hands on this series from my friend who burnt all the episodes on CDs for me in .avi format.

I would recommend this anime for anyone looking for something good.
