While puttering around on Amazon.com recently for their listing of Saber Marionette J to X,I noticed that they were also taking pre-orders for "His and Her Circumstances" (Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou,or KareKano,as it's known in Japan). Has anyone seen this series or know about the impending U.S. release?

InuYasha - saw it in anime club a couple of years back...I might get it when it comes out...

it's supposed to be about either a married couple(newly) or a couple going to be type thing. it looks strange...i've heard of the manga before. i've also heard it's supposed to be good. <shrug> all i know for sure is that it's a love show...lol

A small description of Kare Kano:

"Yukino Miyazawa is a fake. She just goes from Middle School to High School. She is the perfect student: active, helpful, intelligent and beautiful. What no one knows is that she is really lazy and slovenly. She has a perfect act just to get praises and approvals from everyone. Then here comes Souichirou Arima. He is even more perfect than she is and soon becomes her arch-nemesis. That is, until he confesses his love... then blackmails her with a secret he discovered. This begins the path that leads them together into trials and trouble. "

I saw this anime myself and it is actually nice... has a good love story and all .. however it kinda loses its touch around ep 20 - 21 ... its funny and entertaining up to that part... after that it goes downhill... :sweat2:

Thanks for the description alkhoon! That's a pretty accurate description of what I saw in anime club. Not to mention that most,if not all of the filler eps are "recap" eps...

*nods* this is a very sweet romance anime ^_^;; I've only seen up to about 16 i think, so I dont know about the 'downfall'. Considering I dont really like romances and such, i really enjoyed this one, I'd recommend you trying it out ;) oh..and watch out...i found yukino a bit annoying at times :-/

I've seen the first three episodes in fansub; I'm absolutely sold and think that Anno did some more masterpiece work with this one (but I guess I'll have to wait and see how much the show's lack of ending jars me - but thanks to Tokyopop, I can get the manga, too, to fill in that hole). I anxiously await the arrival of Disc 1 with box at the end of May.

    Yes ur correct :D
here's even an extract from a review of Kare Kano
"The creators of Evangelion takes their mastery over their new animation techniques and creates a drama that couldn't be told as a live-action drama. With expressionistic images coupled with perfect timing, close-ups, symbolism such as; a falling mask, blooming flowers, construction signs, and so on. They use simple moments to make you laugh or tear. "

    Engrish strikes again!
"Laugh or tear" - gotta love that, Engrish is pretty cute sometimes.

RightStuf has some pictures of the box up now; not quite what I expected, but goes for some of the cuter aspects of the show. I think I'll still appreciate it.

My brother rented it at a Korean store, then bought the DVD.

-I hated the English Dub (As always)
-Original Japanese with Sub was okay.
    -Korean dub RULES!

Weird how the creator of NGE could make such a anime.
