Kenshin, Opening Theme

    I downloaded a song off kazaa stating it was Rurouni Kenshin Theme song, seems strange to me, but anyways, I was wondering if anyone had the lyrics to the song, or even knew what it was called, any information would do, thank you.

    Hmm...Well, there are three openings to Rurouni Kenshin, although to my knowledge only one (the first) was done in English. Was the song you downloaded in English? If so, it's called "Freckles" by Judy and Mary, and the lyrics are:


    I brush against the freckles & I hate it so,
    but life goes on & I heave a little sigh for you.

    then it devolves like it was just a sugar cube.

    Anytime. :) If you liked that song you should try downloading the other intros and endings to Rurouni Kenshin. Some of them are pretty good J-pop.

    Yo, I also downloaded the jap version, it's like 4 times longer, I was wondering if the english one was just shortened, and if so, do you have the jap lyrics, I mean in english?

    heh, thanks Fushigi Rockna...that works.....and ummm, most jap opening songs are shortened here, becuase the tv producers only give them a certain aloud time...so yah....it is shorted...

    The japanese song you've downloaded is the original full track song. You could say it's a "regular" song then...
    The English version is only as long as the opening theme, simply because there is no full-track english version of Sobakasu (Freckles)..

    As far as I know, that the opening song "Freckles" was shortened for just the opening, but its real version with no cuts is 4 minutes. So, the english version was just for the anime, it wasn't a real song as the japanese version.

    Was that clear? I am not good at explaining things, that's why I ain't going to be a teacher :p
