kenshin or Samurai X

ok i have nevered figured out this. is Rurouni Kenshin the same as samurai x when i have seen them both they look different like in the styles and looks and a bit on the story line. So can you guys help me this is one thing that i haven't figured out for 5 years, and i am too lazy to ask the anime store people.

 

lol well Rurouni kenshin is the japanese name for Samurai X...you might have watched the OVAs and the series...series and the OVAs were drawn differently...

 

yea i sort of figured that but wasen't quite sure.

 

I thought the title was changed because of different licensing between ADV films and Media Blasters. I have the both Movie and OVA in Jpn dvd and both are titled Rurouni Kenshin.

 

Samurai X is only the american name for Rurouni Kenshin. I personally dislike that name very much...but you can call it whatever you want^_^

they are just diff. name but they are the same....
