Inu-Yasha Kikyo lovers....................

No one likes Kikyo........... thats why favorite female,i love kikyo..........but my favorite guy is Sesshomaru he's the best why .............look at how i=he fights and what he wears........^_^

 

I think she not the best charicter, but I'm not totally against her. Yeah for some unknown reason not many people seem to like her.

 

I think most people tend to hate her because of her attitude after she was brought back to life. I mean, Inuyasha and Kaede and even Kagome have tried multiple times after she was brought back to save her from lots of different dangers and she just blows them all off, or tries to kill them.

I know she's apparently confused, but the pissy attitude she's always got just doesn't leave much room for sympathy.

 

Heh, I'm gonna post this even though now one visits any more. But I'm a huge fan of Kikyou. I like Kagome too, but Kikyou more. Many people just don't like her because they probably watch the anime or they can't understand her. She was mad when she first appeared, but who can blame her? The last thing she remembered was Inuyasha betraying her, even though it was Naraku. They think she's evil, which she wasn't. Anyway, I'm gonna say something insane. My friend and I are starting a religon called Rhae and we worship Kikyou. We strive to go to hell like Kikyou......Itsn't that cool?

I thought Kikyou was Kagome's other-self... reminds me of the series "Witchblade" somehow.

Anyway in the last season we see Kikyou cooperating with Kagome when searching for the last fragment of the pearl... but then I may be wrong, I may have not seen other eps.

Anyway I remember this episode where Kagome is poisoned and she has this "real-life" dream, and there she sees Kikyou practicing archery, and Kikyou asks her "you're my other self, right?".

Now can somebody explain to me how the heck this reincarnation thing works!? Or better yet, explain Kagome, I bet she's much more confused than I am

 

Okay, there are already quite a few threads on why people hate Kikyo, why they like Kikyo, why they hate Kagome, why they like Kagome....

Please run a search before posting a topic, especially on these lines. I'm closing this thread, and discussion on the topic(s) at hand can continue in one of the many other threads already covering the subject.

As for the question on the whole reincarnation business...it's fairly simple. In certain religious systems, it is believed that when a person dies their spirit will be reborn into another body at some later time. Kikyo died, and was reborn 500 years later as Kagome. It really is as simple as that.
