Inu-Yasha Kikyou and Sesshomaru?

I heard that Kikyou and Sesshomaru end up together in the end of the anime Inuyasha...well, is it true?! Rumiko does have alot of hints, and "coinsidences" between the two, and not only that, but they both ARE indeed the TWO main neutral characters anyway...Woulden't make sense anway? If you think about it...Inuyasha x Kagome, Miroku x Sango, and Sesshomaru x Kikyou...

 

Well, it's a rumor, and well, I don't really belive it. I mean, yeah they have had there moments, but they were just talking. I mean, we'll just wait and see. Besides in episode 124, Sesshomaru told Inuyasha "It's your problem"... Kudo's of you get what the heck i'm talking about

 

yea, i'd have to agree. I don't see any hints or anything that would result in Sessh and Kikyou ending up together...they've only talked to each other once or twice, and there sure wasn't any connections shown....the other stronger rumour going around about Sessh and Kagura ending up together is easier for me to believe.

 

I was just talking about that with my friend today! Yep Kagura and Sesshomaru look "right" together.

It's kindda like saying, Shippou grew wings and killed every one

I dont think Kikyou would even go with anyone she wouldnt want hurt again and anyway Kikyou was human and I dont think Sesshoumaru would go for that.He has ne tagging along but to go with one would be hard for me to belive.

 

Oh definitely rumor. First off you must remember that Kikyo's dead, while Sesshomaru is still alive and kicking, and if you think Inuyasha might refuse to follow Kikyo into the grave, well, what exactly do you think Sesshomaru would do? He's not one to give into death so easily, especially for something as trivial (to him anyhow) as "love", not to mention that would mean leaving Rin behind, and I don't think he'd be willing to leave her open for enemy attack without a protective figure.

Second of all, I've seen almost no hints pointing in that direction, anything Kikyo's ever said to Sesshomaru has been clipped, to the point, and purposeful. That said, do you honestly think Kikyo, after everything she's experienced and is currently muddling through with Inuyasha, is going to run off with his half-brother who has tried to murder him on multiple occasions? Not likely, though it would make for a surprising plot twist.

I agree that the Sesshomaru/Kagura rumor seems much more plausible, for the sole purpose that they have multiple things in common, way more so then Kikyo/Sesshomaru do. In fact, all of you who have viewed the newest Inu opening (angelus?), has anybody noticed that they lumped Kagura and Sesshomaru together? If that doesn't point toward something, tell me what does.

IF kikyou and sesshoumaru get together, it would mess up the story unless they were trying to do something to anger inuyasha, but nevertheless to me that kinda not going to happen the way i see it. if sesshoumaru has to get somebody, i think kagura would be better.( yep.) If it were up to me to decide, i think sesshoumaru should be just single, unless a similar character such as him should appear. ( so hold that thought.)

 

everyone should just be lonely and single and stay that way forever and ever. it's a lot easier that way.

 

Except for the small fact that if the entire population chose abstinence the human race would die out within centuries. But if you mean solely in the Inuyasha universe, I can answer in one word - fanbase. Inuyasha supposedly caters to an audience of males around the age of 15 or 16, but while I can't pull up a fanbase census, I can almost guarantee that at least half of Inuyasha fans are actually teenaged girls ranging from anywhere between 12 to 25 (though the former more populous then the latter it seems). Teenaged girls adore romance, usually to either supplement their lack of it or embellish their wildest fantasies, but love stories are tedious after awhile. The romantic subplot gives the teenaged girl fanbase something to identify with without going completely overboard on the "sappy" radar.

If you two don't stop blabbing to each other, i'm going to capture and lock both of youz in a room together... and wait till you become happy friends ^_^ if not, you can both stay there and starv to death... and Kagome's Arrow, CLEARLY yakamashi HATES Kagome for her not-so-great reasons. I hate Kagome too ! there, come and bash me now.

ANYWAY, the topic here is about Sessh and Kikyou...

I don't really know what else to say since i've already posted in this thread concerning my thoughts on THE SUBJECT. I guess all i can say is that my thought still stands that I don't see any way possible for Kikyou and Sessh to get together. I also don't see a relationship developing in the last 4 eps of the anime that will soon bring IY's end *cries*... You never know about the manga though... but i highly doubt it.

i don't think so i happen to remember seeing a clip where naraku killed kikyo. even if she were alive no way would she fall for sesshomaru.

Well, that would be kinda weird, and further more, I didn't know Kikyo and Sesshie had this kinda thing going on...... Oh, yeah Kagome's Arrow. Sorry bout' what I said in the Anti-Kagome league thread ^^'. I have learned that Kagome is an important piece in Inuyasha's and many others life. I also now feel seriously sorry for her.....Everybody pretty much just wants her to help them find the Shikon Jewels and she's stuck in an uncomfortable luv triangle with Yasha and Kikyo..... And trust me I know how that feels....Oh, snaps! You didn't just hear that !!!! :blush:

But I still don't like the fact that she's kinda the main character and her voice^^

Why and how could that be there has been any hints to wether or not they would be together. + it is just a rumor. you shouldn't always beleve everything you hear.

 

I'm guessing you have this thing for Sesshoumaru, huh?^^
