im currently looking for a good book that will help me self teach my self japanese.

So far i have started with "let's learn hiragana" -and- "Let's learn katakana" by Yasuko Kosaka Mitamura. Both books are excellent (IMO) ... I have also made my self some charts to help me practice outside of the book.

If anyone wants to check it out, get it here:

if you know a way to make it better, let me know :) I plan to do this with the whole hiragana set.

I wonder if im on the right track...

    ---edit---
should this be moved over to Languages & Culture ?
