    Hi y'all,

The other day I picked up a copy of the last one I was looking for out of
the six original European CD releases* from around 1983, namely 'Kosmos'.

This is somewhat curious in that it omits 2 whole tracks from the original
LP, 'Pacific 231' and 'Aranjuez'. Record companies, aren't they great?

On the bonus side (or not, depending on your viewpoint), it does include
the full version of 'Star Wars', complete with pots and pans. The title has
also transmogrified into 'Kosmos Space Fantasy' for some reason. Record
    companies, aren't they great?! :)

    Cheers,
    Ben

    * The other five are: 'Snowflakes Are Dancing', 'Pictures At An
Exhibition', 'Firebird', (those three include added distortion by the
talented mastering engineer...) 'The Planets' (non-UK for legal reasons)
    and 'The Ravel Album'.

BTW They both have in common the factor of being less known and still
needing royalties paid for the rights. Rodrigo died fairly recently in
his late 90s (Aranjuez was written in 1939).

Unfortunately, instead of 'Hora Staccato' the tracklisting on the back says
'Hor Staccato.' Would never have got past my quality control; maybe its a
comment of some kind on the record industry.
