Death Note "L" Movie

    There's an L movie in production according to IMDB. Kenichi Matsuyama is reprising his role from the Death Note movies, and the cast listing includes the characters Near and Mello.

    The spin-off is currently in filming and slated for a 2008 release.

    I personally never thought they would do a live action movie based on L.

    I am wondering just how based on him is it. I hope it follows him through his fight with Ratio/Light/Kira. It would be rather interesting to see.

    Either that or some other case. L has this strange but interesting personality. In the Death Note LA movies they did a pretty great job on protraying his personality.
