Sailor Moon Lack of Sailormoon Manga?

Perhaps it's just me, but has anyone else noticed a lack of Tokyopop Sailor Moon manga? I can't find them anywhere really. The Tokyopop manga for Sailor Moon has the same design as the original Card Captor Sakura manga did before it was reissued in 100% authentic manga. Does this mean that there is a possibility Tokyopop is going to reissue the Sailor Moon manga in 100% authentic manga format? Please debate!

 

They might. I mean, it's the new "thing to do" with manga. Whoever has Fushigi Yuugi is doing it despite having released eight volumes in left-to-right format. But then, there's also the fact that Sailormoon has faded a bit in popularity. If they do re-release it, I'd buy them. (Granted, I only own one volume, but I'm fannish that way. XD)

It could go both ways, really. I suppose they'd have to think about whether or not people will buy the manga.

 

They are. TokyoPop already said that's what they're doing. You can see it when you buy new manga released in them and they list all their titles...they list 'Authenic sailormoon" right over 'Sailr moon" same with CCS

 

In japan, they are seemingly redrawing the original Manga. This began at the same time as Pretty Guardian Sailormoon did, and is called the "Pretty Guardian Sailormoon Manga Edition". The covers are much better, mind you.

 

now that you mention it, i have never seen a sailor moon comic in stores yet. that is scary.but what do you think i should do about this thing? maybe we should just go tell the store owner to order some.

 

Well, I don't live in the States, but in Croatia we have Tokyopop editions (which is VERY weird mind you, we never have anything) but I'm buying the new editions via jpqueen. Up to now, I bought the first four. They're sooo great! You get stickers inside, too! ^-^v

 

Is there any difference in the story between the new editions and old?
