Inu-Yasha Last episode of Inu Yasha!

    I'm sorry, I didn't like last episode.
    (The anime version ends at episode 167.)
    What are your thoughts on the last episode?
    They didn't complete the Shikon no tama and Naraku is still alive.
    The ending is that Inu Yasha and group will continue to go after Naraku.
    I hope the manga will end better. I heard that volume 40 is going to be the last one. Rumiko Takahashi is currenly writing vol. 39
    (lastest chapter is #386).
    So why was the anime cut short, instead of just hanging on a little longer?
    The newest movie (4th movie), is another side story like the first three movies. So I hope there might be a follow up OVA/OAV.
    Is the new 4th movie the last of the Inu yasha anime?
    Does anyone of any plans for an OVA/OAV?

    Akira Hasegawa-san, though seemingly dead, has written an excellent web-manga, and he did occaisional parodies of anime. This is one of them.

    Now I don't have to watch that TV show hoping they'll defeat Naraku someday.

    Now let's see... what new anime i can see on TV?

    yeah, the ending really sucks. but is it possible or are they gonna start the show with new episodes anytime soon?

    Now, keep in mind that these are just rumors I've heard, but....

    The series is ended at episode 167. There is no more. There's the new movie coming out this month or so in Japan, and rumor has it that the series will wrap up the manga in the form of movies and OAV/OVAs. Don't quote me on that, but it seems fairly obvious that the anime series itself is not continuing on TV. The manga is still going on, though.

    And I, too, am sad at where they left off with the anime. ::shrug:: I'll just have to wait and see. And drool.

    I'd really hope they'll finish up the series through movies. This show, by far, is one of my favorite animes. I want a good ending one way or the other.

    Man. I cannot bvelieve they ended it. I have yet to watch the last 10 episodes. Atleast movie 3 is available now.
