Neon Genesis Evangelion Last Two Eps Love or Hate

I really didn't like the last two eps of Eva but I want everyone to voice there opinion on those eps. i didn't like them because I wanted it for days with reat action packed eps the I get some baddy drawn eps that tell me nothing 'bout the show.

In all reality I liked those better than the movie because was just action for the for the sake of action and that was stupid but you are right that the show is about shinji. But in a personal was I would have had it been done in computer animation instead of chaep graphics


They did have there up points but the main thing I didn't like were the quick pencil drawings because looking in retroseptect they were inevitable but if they had the money they could have done amazing cgi stuff there but they did reiceve death threats for those eps (you can see them at the Begining of End of)

 

The entire show is actually about Shinji, and his interaction with other people. In that sense, this is the actual climax. You learn a lot about the relations and nature of the characters, and frankly thats where I found the real juicy parts of the series...

If you wanted more trippy visuals and action, go watch the movies.

Anyway, I really did like the final episodes. I actually felt a huge surge of happiness at the end. It was just beatiful...

I for one liked the last two eps. Especially the part when the world is rewritten. Rei was so kawai and I loved Gendo's sense of humour. Also I too remember the wise crack made by Rei to Asuka and Shinji. Balony Pony hahahahahah.

 

The "cheap" graphics throughout the series tend to be there whenever its Shinji's mind and such.

 

Personally I liked the graphics. It made it seem less "real", more surreal and... almost... primal.

It is a load of crap but funny'ish none the less answer.

PS; That Rei scared/worried me more than the 80ft+ angel of judgement one 0_o

 

So you havent noticed how there are flashes of the comic style art throughout the series?

Preferred them to the movie, where the fact that Shinji sucks is thrust in our face so we can't avoid it.

They were a bit creepy in the whole Foundation and Earth "I/we/Gaia" kinda way hehe

I love both endings. The first one was made due to a low budget.

 

Ugh....that's too true.....but seeing Asuka fight off all the Evas was cool....
On the last 2 eps, it was kind of confusing for me, like when the whole room thing broke and everyone was there clapping.....But I liked them.

 

I fer one think that the last episodes were great....espeasally the part where the world is re-done....and all the humans turned to tang!!!! ^__^; lol any way.... I think that while it was hard to understand the last two episodes really did tie off some loose ends in the story line...

bah! bloody confusing, if that's what floats ur boat! i definately perfer EoE ... fore many *looks at mods, and desides not to specify * reasons still...the last epicodes were prolly some of the worst in the series

I can't say anything more or voice my opinion on this series cause I got a -1 rep for it..

 

I hated the last two episodes. It just went on and on to proved how messed up Shinji was in the head. The only relief was the alternate reality in the last episode. I said it before and I'll say it again.....Shinji thinks way to much for somebody his age.

 

I could have dealt with one. ONE. Not two. They explained nothing, gave no resolution to the series and left me in a confused stupor for several hours.
Yep, I loved that alternate reality sequence too Kain. Specially Rei!
I guess I could have dealt with one because weren't they all about the completion of Shinji? Like how he decided he wanted to be himself even though he was struggling with self-hatred? Which kind of gave a semi-ending to the series but made it near impossible to understand.
So in conclusion, i didn't like them, didn't hate them. There's always End of Evangelion anyway.
