Movies Late Arrivals

    ...have to be THE most annoying thing. x_x Well... maybe just ONE of the most annoying things. But still. They're annoying.

    Case(s) and point(s) : The Last Samurai and Cold Mountain. Both arrived to island cinemas a month or so after the original U.S. release. And while that was great in a way because it gave me time to actually see one of them in theaters, it's still annoying because my online friends are going, "Oh, this movie was SOO good!!" Plus, it's awards season and I like to catch up on nominated films (not like that matters at all, but yeah).

    And yet... we got the Lord of the Rings movies on the release dates. And X-Men, too...

    But still! Just wonderin' if it happens to anyone else...

    You're not the only one. A lot of movies don't get to the theater out here until about a month after they've been released, unless they were hyped a lot. In that case, the theater is under a lot of pressure to get it on time. Since it only has one screen, it's kinda hard when all those big name movies come out.
