Hmm, looks like bits of stuff tacked together, not making any sense:

(disclaimer: me not advanced Japanese speaker, but I'm having a go)

Watashi wa : I, me, as for me. This is what you say when you are going to say something about yourself
Donata : this is polite Who? ex. anata wa donata desu ka (Who are you?)
tame : means 'benefit', good, like in "for your own good". but the word isnt realy attached to anything. ex you would say somthing like "kimi no tame..." "for you" (for your benefit) ... I would die, or something dramatic like that ...
anata no desu ka : is it yours?
Dare mo : nobody (is) ex. heya ni dare mo imasen (nobody is in the room)

    Put together

I... who...? ..good (benefit) ... is it yours? nobody...

not much infomation in there, unless im being stupid <(^_^)

No wait, that actually makes sense. It could be: "Who am I to you? Nobody."
This probaply isn't correct since there is still something missing, but something along that road perhaps....

I still don't know where Donata fits in though.... hm....

aishiteru means i love you. daisuki means like, i really really like you. practically the same thing.

but japanese IS difficult, but it gets easier after you get the hang of it. (do any of you get the hang of it...? :sweat2: ) i've been 'learning' it for the past... um... well, i haven't really been learning it, just picked it up somewhere.

but gyah, japanese STUFF rocks!!! lol.

    Also.

    So, self explanatory?

    _________
Thank you psyeudkev for the website as welll.

I posted before saying I was learning Japanese. But now my school decided 'oh no, we don't need this subject, let's remove it', and I have no time out of school to learn with a tutor or something..
Okay okay I lied, I'm just too broke. Haha..

*tries to keep on topic* I still say it's easy to learn!

I really want to learn japanese, but going to japan is a litle bit problematic for me right no. i found this site http://www.sf.airnet.ne.jp/~ts/japanese/ most of it is only the kana though. to remember hiragana i try writing them every day or even like 10 times a day, just writing the whole list that i know out of my head and then adding the ones i forgot. this way i know more of them every day. i'm a litle pissed of by the dutch government because for my school they force me to learn 2 modern foreign languages(+ english) but they refuse to teach japanese :S. in my oppinion japanese should classify for that.

A lot of people's saying that japanese's tough language to learn.
It depends on what perspect you choose. Sure, most of us at this forum (I suppose) isn't used to the graphical signs of theirs but once you know the easiest ones you can go a long way. On the other hand is the grammar very easy, and makes much more sense than - for example - the one of the german nor swedish language. I have absolutly no problem with the pronciations but I guess that, that might be a problem for some too.
Well, what can I say more? Good luck.

Um...I don't want to seem a snob, but I feel compelled to correct you.

Sorry, there is grammar in the Japanese language. If you wanted to say "I love you" it would be "anata ga daisuki desu." You use "ga" to mark the subject. Also most Japanese teens, especially boys, avoid using the aformentioned phrase in favor of saying "I might not dislike you."

There is nothing gay about using watashi. Watashi is the general genderless "I". Atashi is the female form that I think you were trying for, and it is usually seen as a bit uneducated and slutty. It is usually used when the speaker wishes to emphasize their femininity.
