Anime Least Favorite Anime

I actually only liked Kenshin UNTIL I saw the OVA. It just seems like a weak plot being used to string violent scenes together meaninglessly.

Anyway, my worst is a toss-up between Sailor Moon (the Ubercheese), the original Mobile Suit Gundam (sub-par plot, characterization, and acting) and Neon Genesis Evangelion (Gainax: "Let's see if we can make a deep, meaningful series. Now let's bastardize it to sell merchandise and porn").

 

I haven't seen the Seisouhen OVA yet, but the Tsuiokuhen OVA is the best movie I've seen. Literally. I'm not joking.

So, although I like the series and think it's good, anyone who says they dislike the Tsuiokuhen OVA (which is really good) is: too immature to understand it, too unintelligent to understand it, absolutely insane, sociopathic, dead, or in a coma. Because, with the last one, they are unconscious. And they can't watch it.

 

How can you hate Tenchi Universe? No KIDDING the dub is bad, what dub isn't?!? You should watch it in Japanese, anyways.. geez. Tenchi is the best!

And how can anyone hate X? How is it that some guys just can't take shojo series with bishonen? Jealous or something...

Lastly. Don't EVER toy with Sailor Moon! EVER! It's a classic, and brought many many fans into the world of anime. It's loved byu many many people (like me) not because of good animation or whatever.... we just like it. And it does have great characters, is very original, nice plot, etc. There's kind of like a charm around Sailor Moon that draws you in. If you don't like maybe you've seen the chopped up and badly dubbed American version.

 

Hay man.......... say what you will about other anime, I can deal with it....... But when you Neon Genesis Evangelion into these then you've crossed a line you my want to step back over

 

Hey, guys, if they can't stand a show, they can't stand a show. You have to accept that. So stop whining! Stop being so defensive! They're just shows, not people!



Anyway, the ones I dislike are G Gundam, Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun, Ronin Warriors, Digimon, and Rurouni Kenshin. All these shows have rubbed me the wrong way. I've actually seen them too, and don't flame me for them. These are just my opinions. DON'T FLAME ME.

 

Don't talk crap about NGE. :anger: If you do then I will find you and make you regret it..
Also about the hentai, thats nothing. Any anime that has ever had a pretty girl in it has had hentai based on it. Look at Sailor Moon or Love Hina.

 

That's right... I don't think I can name a series without hentai for it, although eva does have a lot more than usual. Anyways, Gainax didn't make it to sell hentai, it just happens.


And as for defending series- I think it's only expected. This is a discussion of "worst anime ever" and if someone sees a series they love, they should voice out. Right?

 

Yasuko's right if it;s a show we love we should defend it.
And don't worry I won't Flame you that bad Star Princess, but 5 out of the 6 show you put down are good ones (the bad one is Digimon), but all the other ones are good.
The thing that get me with Ronin Warriors is the dubbing!!!

Well...I'm gonna stay out of the battle of the worst anime and just get to the point...Well, all the obvious ones like poke`mon...and, i hate Reign. I mean, sure, they put a lot of work into it, but, I mean, c'mon, put some clothes on for cry'n out loud! :dizzy2:

 

well i have to agree with pokemon and with Reign but i also do not like Blue Gender and Digimon i just cannot stand them

 

Reign, Boogiepop Phantom, Transformers, and any of that Gundam **** has to be the worst animes I've ever seen. :anger2:

 

Reign, for sure... the animation just looks so ugly to me. Though I'm not into the anime geared more to kids (pokemon, digimon, beyblade, etc), I can understand how younger watchers could enjoy them

 

soul taker , omg I couldn't stand this show, it was like a adhd kid on speed and acid, I mean like it made no scence what so ever, I mean flcl made more scence then soul taker. Ever watch a show where it sicks long amount of time in a split second, every 2 min. I just remember one part they where sitting at a table talking about some random thing next thing you know there in a middle of a battle which no explination on how or why they are fighting. I would much rather watch pokemon and yu gi oh then watch soul taker agin.

as for nge hentai.. whats funny with that is Gainax acctually made some hentai for it lol. They used to have like a hentai calender on there webpage. lol.

Pokemon was hell-spawn. it should never have been broadcast ANYWHERE, EVER.

 

Blue crow, maybe the reason is that you expected too much from it, because of how many people told you how "Great" it is. It happens to me all the time, I expect it to be the best of everything, but I end up disappointed
Back to the topic, lets see. The one that came to mind are Love Hina and Tenchi. I never liked the animes with lots of female characters and one male character.

Ok, I really don't like Tenchi Muyo, and not mention Pokemon. Sure the games are somewhat challenging, but the series has to stop somewhere. And also, I really dislike AirMaster.
