Ok so, I had to come up with a thank you card. So I decided to make a quick painting of a picture I took while on Honeymoon. It's an image I took of Jasper from on top of Whistler Mountain. Anyways, the reason for the title is, I forgot all my watercolour paints at my parents place, since half my stuff is still there. So I had to make due with what was on the pallette I brought with me, which did not have much blue :( it was a bit challenging, though I like a good challenge..

Anyways, here it is, took the afternoon on thursday, watercolour:

Thats very nice. You did an excellent job with just the colors you had, I'm horrible with watercolors...which makes what you did with the amount of colors you had all the more better :D

very very nice... you had to make it small eh? so the blue wouldn't run out?

Thank you everyone ^__^ watercolours tend to be smaller paintings when compared to acrylics and oils, yet most of my recent paintings are quite huge. I didn't want to go too big on the painting because it was intended for thank you cards. It's roughly around 7"x9". Because it was small, and I didn't have much of certain colours, I used a watercolour pencil to get the rough lines in before painting. That's actually why you see some blue lines, which I find can be a bit harsh in the mountain tops.
