    Augh, the muscleman looks like crap, and the other two look like a Fox Kids tv-show character designers wankfest. The only way I'm pickin' up this comic is if I hear a lot of good things from friends and the sole review column I trust.

    And yes, this is spam. Its essentially an ad for your work and forums, and IIRC there was another thread just like this that got closed. I mean, jeez, you couldn't even be bothered to put this into the Comics forum where it belongs.

    Anyway I took a look at the preview. Regarding character designs: Some simply do not appeal to me (the ones on the cover, actually). Some, however, looked pretty damn sweet (the ones in the preview).

    I know its too early to make a judgement, but this series could either turn out wonderfully good or terribly cliche. I guess I'm willing to pick up an issue or two to see how it turns out.

    Edit: I also went to the other forum. I really really like the alternative cover design (the 'darker' one), and the in-mag art actually looks good. My early judgement was perhaps a little hasty.

    Thanks for the kind words guys. Sorry about the double posting. I know with most boards some people only visit some threads. I wanted to make sure I cover the threads that appealed to the art for the book. But thanks again for the kind words :)

    Anytime. Just next time you go to a forum and advertise the comic, use the second cover ;)

    Edit: I finally figured out what specifically bothered me about the two other people on the cover. For some reason they just struck me as Final Fantasy 8/9/10-esque, and I'm not a big fan of the architectural, character and ship designs from that cross-section of the games.

    No that's a good question. The book is influenced by Anime and Manga and what better place to show it :)

    The Cover Reminded me of Final Fantasy 10 and all the airships floating around reminded me of 9, but there are differences so i might pick up a couple issues to see if it is any good...
