    I've had Ritsuko as my avatar since practically FOREVER (well, not forever, but you know what I mean ^~) and I'd never even SEEN Eva.

    But now I have. Well, the first 8 eps, at least. My impression?

    Dudes, it's so cool. ^_^

    And do I still wanna have Ritsuko as my avatar?

    By the way, if I'm not mistaken, in Disc 2, Fly Me to the Moon is sung by Rei (ep5), Misato (ep6), Ritsuko (ep7), and Asuka (ep8)...right?

    *hopes she's right* I know Hayashibara Megumi sings the song, and I know she sings it in ep 5. It's Misato and Ritsuko that have me sorta confused, but I'm pretty sure that's the way it goes. (Ep 8 ending is cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute. ^^)

    dude, there are about 13 versions of that tony bennet/frank sinatra song for the show...(not sure which sang it first lol)
    i have the megumi version, and it's so good...get her version of cruel angels thesis...very nicce.

    and well, ristuko and kaji are mah favs so glad ya liken it...it gets...odd...lol

    Just be lazy and get the version where Rei, Asuka, and Misato sing it in sequence. :D Anyway, yeah, most all the females in that show sing the song. I don't know if Maya did or not though.

    The best version(s) i've heard of a Cruel Angel's Thesis is the Ayanami Edit and Director's Edit. Ayanami Edit is Megumi going all out with an instrumental added and some other effects. The Director's is from the Birthday or Rei Ayanami...and it's Megumi doing it in full Rei voice (soft and sweet) to a rock-ish background. I have both, so if you want 'em...:D

    I have the Ogata Megumi live version of Zankoku, but only part of it...

    Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare with me. ^_____^ Please? ^^;

    One drawback, though...I spoiled myself severely. ^_^; Oh well. Can't help it now!

    Yeah, Maya's so cute. ^_^ I dunno why, she just gives off that impression of cuteness. ^^ (She reminds me of a character from Candidate for Goddess. ^^)

    She is the voice actress who does Shinji.

    I never could keep track of who sang the ending song when.. is there a site that lists all the versions?

    And yes, Maya is cute.. specially that pic of her in the kimono or whatever it is (doesn't pretend to know anything)

    When the credits rolled by and Ogata Megumi came up, my reaction was, "WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH???????????" ^_^;;; No joke. ^_^;;

    I've heard the Hayashibara Megumi version of Zankoku. See, I began downloading it, but since it was with the old Napster, if you got cut off, there was no guarantee you'd get the song. (Sometimes I'd get snippets of the song! I have short, SHORT pieces of Cardcaptor Sakura songs...)

    They should get Pen-Pen to sing! ^_^;; (Kidding...:catgirl: ^^)

    That reminds me of the Simpson's episode when Homer was that dog in the Itchy and Scratchy show. You know, how she met the voice of the Roadrunner...and how she only did one take and WB had no other use for her? I wonder if Hayashibara-san got the same thing...but then, she did do Rei's voice, so...SMILE.

    I chose Ritsuko for my avatar because I felt that the look in her eyes was similar to the look I give people jokingly sometimes. Besides. Honey-blonde hair is cool. (Even though in the series it's just blonde.)

    "Dude"? I happen to LIKE saying that word. It's humorous. It made my class laugh WITH me when I said it rather loudly for a reason that I currently can't remember. And it's a fun word to say/read. ^^

    Err...no. I'm a "she", thank you very much. ^^

    Yes, sadly enough this has happened before. Why only two weeks ago, Viper made an erroneous mistake...which was understandable, considering himself and his very awkward speech pattern.

    Anyway, Phox, what episode are you up to now?

    Oh, if anybody reads this, is there any easy way to transfer files over the net? I mean, I'd do it on cable on AIM, but that's less than reliable...since it just times me out after 30 minutes or so of transfer time. It'd be nice to share anime (well, music only...for now) with others.

    *sniffles miserably* Just episode 8, because AngelofLight doesn't own any more and no one else I know owns any more... and our local Game Stop has volumes 6, 7, and 8 for sale! >.<;; ^^;; Eheh...

    Angel got to see the whole thing 'cuz someone lent it to her. (Grr) Oh well. Patience is a virtue~
