Saber Marionette Lime cosplay at SMB'05

Hi everyone! I thought I'd share these photos from the latest anime con I've been at: the X Salon del Manga de Barcelona 2005. There was a Lime cosplayer, and I finally got permission from her to upload the photos here. Click on the thumbnails for a larger version.

I can never understand Cosplayers, but at least the costume aint too bad. Haha, I love the bright yellow Vans with the orange shoelaces.

anyway its nice to see a good looking cosplay lime for a change. all the ones ive ever seen have been...well...yehhh >.< she looks like a girl who used to be in my class in highschool.

 

Uh... i didn't notice something about that bearded guy. Is that a can of beer he's holding on his right hand? Eek! It was ugly enough destroying Lime's beauty - and now her morals too?

You know, Man Lime isn't nearly as disturbing now as he used to be. I think I'm building up an immunity or something.

I remember seeing a Lime and an Otaru at Anime North 2004, but they weren't terribly awesome. I remember thinking I could pull off a better Otaru if I really wanted to.

Still, it's nice to see more fans.

 

Oh no. Man Lime is back! Just when I had finally managed to tear off that image from my burnt retinas...

Anyway, I must be developing the same immunity as you, Ragnarok, because I also saw Man Lamu at the con... and I took photos... Don't worry, I will not post them (unless someone asks me to )

And at SMB'04 (same con, last year) there were 2 Otarus. They even participated in the cosplay contest

I could never understand why fat white people would dress up as fictional Asian characters and then travel around an area of high traffic, hoping to get their picture taken. This is exactly why I stay away from cosplay. Talk about frightening. I've seen the man-faye in real life (or at least a reasonable facsimile) and he is terrifying. Why why why would you do that to yourself?!

On the other hand, cute Asian chicks running around as Chii is something that we should see more of in everyday life.

Less man-faye, more Chii. Why can't we post up piccies of the BEST of cosplay, not the worst.

Because we all need something to laugh about once in awhile, and certainly it makes you feel better about your own crappy cosplay attempts.

My girlfriend made the gloves, the red shoes and sewed all the yellow things to the trousers. Also she went with me to the convention. She was cosplaying an anonymous neko-girl.

For Wertitis and anyone who don't like fat guys within thin anime guys costumes, here goes one girl dressed like bloodberry, who saw me and made the "I love you" hand code to me. My girlfriend then attacked me like the cat she is(j/k)
