Slayers Universe Lina's Sister

    Several times through the series (and movies, if memory serves me right), there are short references to a sister of Lina's...

    -After putting herself through the strain of spell-shock, Lina comments to Gourry "that was nothing compared to what my sister used to put me through"

    -The real reason Lina agrees to help Filia in Slayers Try is that her sister told Filia to hire her instead.

    It appears Lina is somewhat afraid of her sister to me...

    What kind of person do you picture her sister as, conceptually?

    Thats a hard one. She's powerful enough to strike terror into the heart of Lina Inverse, but thats all we are really told. That was one of the things about Try that kinda upset me. I at least wanted to see Luna Inverse in a single scene if anything.

    I always wondered what kind of a person she was...
    i really want to see how she looks like at least and see why lina inverse [who is like strong and fears nothing]... actually fears her sister??

    if only they showed her once.. i would have been satisfied...
    and i wish they would show Nagha more often... i really like her:sweat2: .... esp. her laugh... :D

    I started Next again recently, and she was actually calling for her sister and mother when giant slugs appeared...

    Maybe we can piece together all the metnions she's made of, and try to construct our own verison of Lina's Sister?

    ack! cant believe i forgot about that... *_*

    *must go watch it again.... i just recently saw the whole series for the second time... hahaha i cant get enough of SLAYERS... *

    Lina's sister is supose to be the most powerful being in the universe.. Or something like that from what ive gathered anyway..

    But if I also remember correctly her sister told her not to screw up her Job what ever it was! been to lang!

    Actually, we do get a small pic of Luna during the Try opening. It's a short segment near the middle of the opening that has Lina in front in a scared pose with Luna behind her. Her face is blacked out, but she's there in her waitress getup with a small window pointing to her and spouting "Sorry, Opening Only".

    I have the feeling she'd be a pretty annoying character to have around. But since there are a few annoying ones already, I wouldn't mind.

    I'm still waiting for the Naga/Amelia reuniting. Their sisterhood may not be officially announced yet, but there have been too many dropped hints towards it not to be true. I just can't imagine those two getting along well at all...
