Voltron Lion Voltron/Battle of the Planets crossover?

Some people have though this is a good idea, and others have thought it wouldn't be since the teams are so much alike. What do you think? Personally, I think it would be cool. It would have to be cleverly written, but seeing these teams fighting side-by-side would be very exciting.

I'd have to say no, but I'm biased against cross-overs to begin with.

 

No, unfortunately there is nothing in the works. It's just an idea I had, since the teams are so similar.

It would be cool that somehow, the Voltron Force ended up flying the Phoenix, and G-Force had to fly the lions. This is how the lions would stack up:

Mark - Black Lion
Jason - Red Lion
Princess - Blue Lion
Keyop - Green Lion
Tiny - Yellow Lion

I would keep Allura in the castle and have Sven work the tracking consule on the Phoenix, and see how the Voltron Force reacts to the Firey Phoenix.

So it would be the classic Voltron Lion Force. Not any of the mutated computer animated versions.

 

Nope, just the classic. Unfortunately, I don't see any room for the Vehicle Voltron Force.

It would also be interesting to see Zoltar fight Lotor, and The Luminous One go at it with King Zarkon. Lotor would probably take care of Zoltar, but I think there's no question The Luminous One would wipe our King Zarkon. After all, Zarkon is just a humanoid, as opposed to a Great Mighty Spirit!

 

If you want to get really crazy, you could see who would get in more trouble:

the mice of the Castle of Lions or Zark??????

 

It's funny you should mention this because I draw and illistrate my on comic stips at home for personal fun. I did a crossover where Mark was escorting a engineer to the Voltron galaxy to upgrade (Amalgamus???) while the upgrade is in process, Mark is left in charge. Zarkon sees this as a perfect oportunity to attack. The poor fool just underestimated Mark as well as the Voltron force. I'd love to see a cross-over !!!!!

Hey you guys ! I'd love to post my BotP/Voltron crossover . I will start to work on loading it all as soon as possible. I will warn you it is NO where near finished ; it's only at the beginning as I almost never have time to draw anymore.
By next weekend I'll have what I've got up. AND YES I'M OPEN TO COMMENTS FOR GOOD OR BAD .

BotP/Voltron crossover

HEY YOU GUYS !!!! A friend of mine has her own Gatchaman/anime website and has let me download my story onto it. Just go to msn.groups.com/EaglesLair ( a WAY COOL website with lots of cool stuff to gander at !) and click on Voltron art. I've downloaded 11 pages. That's all I have for now.

Let me have your comments/suggestions/ideas. I can take it ; and I need it. (ex. What kind of 'gift' shall Hagar present Mark with?) IDEAS are appreciated.

Gatchafan2003, this is VERY interesting! I like your inginuity on splitting up the universe in sectors.

In your G-Force universe, are there different teams of G-Force (like different Voltron Forces)? I assumed that because you have the G-Force commander in your story as Chris Ryder. You said in your intro you didn't know why you did this, but I thought maybe that was a possibility.

Will we see Sven?

Thanks for the compliment. YES I intend to work sven into the story. I do have different G-Force stories with different characters/names. All of the other characters seem to keep their identities. My CoG's go by Devon McAlister,Mark Hunter,Trevor Austin Gray (Tag for short.I duuno why?).....I think thats all.

I only get to work on my stories on the weekend if time and people allow me to. I am at a block with this cross-over because I am terrible at drawing robots. ( note amalgamus) I have to get Voltron and lions to at least be reckognizable.

I'll see how far I get and post what I come up with.
