farmers have to stop being lazy and gun-happy and build better fencing for their livestock. I just hope a protection can be placed on the lions soon so they won't be shot and killed anymore.

I think its a shame that such a creature is being shot down by farmers and killed off by disease. and Neph's lil comment was a joke. Lions have never done anything wrong to me, unless by human manipulation. Where are all the animals the lions used to hunt and eat?
They're all dead because man hunted and killed them for his own sport. If we hadn't done that they'd still have plenty wild game to eat and wouldn't be invading farmers' land.

I dont think they will ever be extinked ____________________________________________________ Ok on a serious note: I love lions. Around Toronto we have a Afican Lion Safari and I go and see them. I dont touch them. I am in like this bus thing but there so cool. I hate when ppl kill things just for fun, wasting the animal which chould haver been used for many things, to get money, and then make it go extinked :anger2:. I mean, we dont really need to kill lions. We have are meat from other animals and killing a lion for its fur is just wrong. I am sure back in the day, Afican Tribs didnt kill a lion for fun, but for food, clothing and tools. Now a days ppl kill it, and only take the important things worth money. I am not saying to kill them . I am just saying its pretty pointless to kill these creatures just for fun and money. I love them. I am glad they will be protected now, but sad that for there protection, so many of them had to die :sad:
To be blunt, we can only do so much with cloning technology as it stands. I think the best we could do is get lion DNA and then keep it in cold storage until cloning tech really improves if things keep going this way. ... Who else can't stop thinking about Titan A.E. now?
