Anime List the anime that you own..

Wow, your dad too? I'm impressed. I don't know many people who can convince their parents to watch anime with them, let alone collect it. ^_^

Hm...currently on my computer in downloaded form (since I already listed my pathetic legit collection) is Inuyasha (only a couple, as my harddrive is too small for the whole series; the rest are burned until Viz gets a clue and releases it more sanely), Final Fantasy Unlimited, Hellsing, Asagiri no Miko, .hack//sign, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Mahou Senshi Riui. ^_^ I've also got burned copies of Fruits Basket, Hikaru no Go, and Flame of Recca.

 

Damn, I'm probably the one with the smallest collection. I'm getting a bunch from my friend, but those are all gonna be fan subs he burned.

Kogarashi - yeah, my dad first got into it when he used to tape Saturday Anime from the sci-fi channel for me and my brother. I remember him watching a little bit of Project A-ko Versus with us. Then when we started going to the University of Cincinnati's Anime Club, Dad would come and he got into Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Jubei chan . . .and now he really wants Akazukin Chacha to come over to the United States. If it doesn't soon, he'll probably buy the fansubs for himself!

It's nice a parent who is interested in the stuff you do, especially if it's something like anime. My mom isn't into it at all, but she just kinda leave the whole subject alone.

Heh, if only I could get my parents interested. At least my mom doesn't outright object my anime fandom. She even got me the first DVD of Inuyasha for Christmas this past year.

 

I watched Lain with my mother. Netflix came in handy for that Dad wandered in sometime in the last episode and looked confused. Mom assured him that it made sense. 'Sure,' he rolled his eyes, and was gone hehehe

My legit list is rather .. small. Fansubs are my friend.
