What is the longest thing you have ever written?

I had to write a novella for a class I took in school. My teacher told me after a started that it should be about 6000 words. It ended up around 19174 words, spanning something like 35 pages. It was worth it, though. A labour of love.

 

I always wanted to try and write a novel and my first real attempt at that was about a year or two ago with a story I had involving Demons and Angels (which was pretty much everything I wrote back then) and I think it ended up being almost fifty pages. Though like everything I do, I ended up abandoning it for some reason. Then after that I had another story sort of recently called Requiem Of The Dead which started as a short-story assignment for my Creative Writing class, the first two chapters ending up being about 20 pages and I got up to about 9 chapters for that. Though I only have I think the first five chapters which is 53 pages, about. Going to try and beat that and go on further with my current story, A Fairy Tale, which is only about 11 pages I think now.

 

Wel So far it is like ten pages. But ia m working on so many things it is hard to get up.

 

The longest thing I've ever written is my first book. It started out as just a fic and has grown 70+ pages so far. I'm still not even close ot finishing it. But yeah it's become very important to me because I've been working on it since December. Currently I'm posting it chapter by chapter on A4 (www.anime-forums.com) Maybe I'll post it here too ^^

 

Hmm, im not sure. I have to check. But i have to say a chapter of my story "Academy of War" It was chapter... 6 and 7. It was supposed to be one chapter, but since it ranged over 33 pages I divided it. Im not sure how many pages it is all together. (The story is about a alternate world, where its been at war for over a hundred years. To put an end to it, one side created Academies of War, schools starting at junior high that teaches you basically everything you need to know to be the ultimate soldier. The story is about the adventures of four friends; their rivalries, love triangles, classes, etc.)

 

I thought 33 was the TOTAL pages... *shrug*

Well, so far my longest work has been "Chance!" a fanfic based on one of my own original works (which isn't exactly written yet... heh...) and incorporating some of Angel of Light's evil plans and characters (some of her characters are nice, though).

I think my other current endeavor, "Dream Police", will pass by Chance! soon enough.

Chapter wise, a fifteen-page chapter has been the longest so far. (Yes. I'm ashamed. I could be so much better!)

 

My longest fiction

Saber Marionette 90210, a bit futuristic highschool fic with govt. plots involved. It's a crossover between Saber Marionette, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and a bit of Love Hina. Mix all the characters in a new universe, and ta-da!

So far i have 45 chapters written (every chapter about 3000 words, so it would be about let's see... 135,000 words... and counting.

*whistle!*

Man, I need to keep up writing! Act II needs to finish so we can get to Act III and finish this mess.
