Well, I am leaving New York City tomarrow, and gonna return to my sweet home named Stockholm, Sweden.

The trip is gonna be 8-9 Hours long, but it isnt my longest trip :).
I have been to alot of countries because my parents are very fond of travel. My longest was when I went back to my hometown Nanjing for the 3rd time. ( Nanjing, population of 6.7million people, 4 hours of train from Shanghai )

Anyways, the trip was setteled like this:

First was the flight from Arlanda airport outside Stockholm Sweden to Kastrup Airport outside Copenhagen, Denmark. The landning was for some rest and refueling. Afterwards was the long flight to Beijing, China. When we arrived in Beijing, we took the flight to Nanjing. A total time of 12 - 13 hours.

What was yours? and what was the destination?

    - Teddz

Longest trip for me ever taken was from my homeland in PA to Arizona or California. I go there a lot so I fly to both states, and it's takes like 8 hours of sheer boredom.

well, flight time total was around 20 something hours, but by the time we got to my gramps's house, it was 24 hrs after we left Briz.

It'd have to be when I came from Korea... bus to Seoul, plane to LA, cabride from LA to who knows where... it all took 13 hours... and I was 6... plus I didn't get to be next to my mom because me and my cousin had to sit way up there... but that's besides the point.

The furthest I've been to is Hong Kong (nearly 12 hours) @_@, gave me such an headache. Can't stand that pressure building in your ear when you are on the plane.

Anyway Teddz, have a safe journey.

Never been on a plane. In fact, I've never left this here continent. I'm not really traveling material - I'd have major flight anxiety, I bet. And I'd likely get seasick on a boat. :S

    UGH. DON'T REMIND ME.

My first flight I ever took as a teenager was the worst. My family took a *discount* air company. We took Air Transat, and they are evil. When we landed part of the ceiling collapsed. They duct-taped it back together. Yeah.

    Here's how it went...

From Chatham to Toronto (traffic jam, highway accidents included): 5 hours.

We stayed in a hotel from midnight to three A.M. I did not sleep: 3 hours.

Flight from Toronto to Nicarauga: 9 hours

Nicarauga to Lyberia, Costa Rica: 1 hour

Bus trip from Lyberia, Costa Rica to Juna Village (plus 10 stops along to way, each taking roughtly 20 minutes): 5 hours

I DID NOT SLEEP AT ALL DURING THE WHOLE ORDEAL.

    Total time: 23 hours.

    By this time I was insane. I got to my room, unpacked, had dinner and walked back to my room, and passed out on the bed. I am NEVER doing that again. -_-;;

Oh yeah! Do you wanna hear about how my flight was an undiluted NIGHTMARE?? Sure ya do.

As I said, Air Transat was the worst flight I've ever taken. It was an unsafe airplane, for one. Before the flight, Neph and I decided to get some food at an air port fast food place. I ordered eggs and toast, Neph ordered pizza. That's when HE noticed the seasonings you could sprinkle on your food. He chose GARLIC POWDER. He thought he'd only sprinkle a little on, but it came pouring out like crazy. He didn't bother to take off the garlic power. He just ate the pizza. During the flight, I was crammed into a 27 inch wide seat, right beside him and my dad. They are both big guys. They're tall. My dad's legs had taken over my seat, and my brother kept on burping during the flight, emitting a garlicly stench that could cause a massacre. Then, the worst happened. HE FARTED... and it smelled so bad I nearly got sick. Remember, this flight was 9 hours long.

Finally, after nine hours of hell, we landed in Nicarauga to refuel and let some of the passengers off, as it was their destination. I wasn't expecting Nicaruaga to be a desert. Oh well.

Finally, after another hour in the sky, we fianlly landed in Costa Rica. As we touched the ground, part of the ceiling collapsed. YES, COLLAPSED.

I conclude with this: NEVER TAKE AIR TRANSAT, AND NEVER EAT GARLIC POWDER SATURATED PIZZA.

My longest journey was probably to Zeebruge... we went overnight in the Fastship thing. Then we drove to Geneva @_@
I have NO intention of trying to remember how long that took.
In fact.. we spent the next two weeks driving from place to place.
just to give u an idea = I read 9 books that fortnight and partially completed another gameboy game (YAY 4 ZELDA XD)

On an Airoplane though... 9 hours. to Florida.

The longest airtrip I went on was from London to Houston, usa.
11-12 long endless hours. I wish I had slept, but I couldnt because of that darn child that was crying all the time. I wish there was a policy where they said: Children below 15 are not allowed on the plane. That would really please me...!

longest I have been in the air at one time has been 11 hours I think. The trip from home in Wyoming to Germany this summer though.. 8 hour drive to Denver for the plane. 2 hour wait at the airport. 2 or 3 hours to New Jersey. Wait 1 hour. 8 hours to Frankfurt. Wait an hour. 4 or 5 hours by train to Kiel. wait 1 hour. 30 minutes by bus to Schönkirchen, then another half hour of walking. All in all, about 28 hours of constant travel. It kinda sucked.

On long flights, sleeping pills are the top of cool.
