Recreation M2A Izztant Messenger =]

    Well, it's been a while, but I'm finished. Finally. If you don't know what "Izztant Messenger" is, then I'm sorry. Hehe, what it basically is, is a "skin" of sorts to AOL Instant Messenger. I've changed a few things around so that M2A is featured. Not to mention a newer Icon (in homage to me and the P! in FLCL.). Bow to me. =]

    Current OTHER users of this in M2a is me, Sorcyness, neoblacklady, and cosmos. There may be others, but i'm not sure. ^_^

    I'll include a screen shot as an attachment. Note, that I have windowsXP and styleXp, so you'll just have to imagine what it looks like on whatever OS you use. Also, if you look at the link for the other screenshots, you'll notice that my AIM is a little...bare. This is DeadAim's work. Not mine. DeadAim is a program to take off the ads and such. I recommend it.

    Install notes:
    1. Completely exit AIM, meaning that you'll have to even exit it on the system tray (the little corner icons on the bottom right).
    2. Go to C:\Progam Files\AIM95 and find AimRes.dll
    3. Rename this file into AimRes.bak, just in case you dont' like M2A Izztant Messenger.
    4. Download the file. Unzip it.
    5. Put that AimRes.dll into the AIM95 folder.
    6. Start up AIM, and viola! M2A Izztant Messenger.

    Note: If you don't like it, just exit AIM and delete AimRes.dll. Then rename the AimRes.bak back to AimRes.dll. And then you have original AIM again.

    but i dont use AOL.

    It'ssa, groovy. A well skinnéd device, and FLCL V so you can't go wrong. I'd reccomend self respecting AIM users to use this. Unless you don't got self respect...

    I'd give it a shot, but with the current crash happiness of my laptop, I'd rather not risk it just now.

    Bloody razors edge this thing is balancing on! Explorer froze whenever it went to M2A, Opera froze the computer after so much time and wont start again, but bizarrely Netscape works perfectly.
