Art Contests and Games M2A... maybe? [Deadline - January/15]

M2A... maybe?

Time to bust our with your mad art skillz, people! Okay... I'm really excited about this whole art contest thing. Sounds really cool!
...unfortunatley, there are no contests, really. o_0 So I guess I'll be the first to start one.

The deadline may be changed... depending on what people really need.

I propose something a little different, which we can get creative with. ^_^ How about this:

Draw a picture depicting your fellow m2a-ers: For instance, you know how everyone has little conversation snippets in their sigs? You could choose to animate one! Or just have a large pic with a buch of us saying stuff... maybe everybody dressed up as the cast of a certain anime.

To Sum It Up:

Medium: Any
Style: Anime oriented
Deadline: TBA
Focus: The m2a members
Options:
-an odd conversation animated
-large pic with several members doing something
-m2a members dressed as the cast of an anime
-anything else you can think of!

Up to 3 entries will be allowed per person, collabs are permitted.

 

since i dont know any M2A members besides myself can i draw myself

 

*blinks* hum...this sounds like fun.....hopefully some one will enter before me so I can see if I am doing it right...

Well, sure you can draw yourself... but go out and make some friends! This can be a great opportunity to better know the people around you! Go hang around the chat for a while... friends are as easy to make as mud pie on a rainy day.

I'll put up an example, too... so yall get a general idea.

 

That's a cool contest idea! I was thinking up a similar idea, but not really a contest (where the "artists" of the Art Forum do group self-portraits of each other).

Do the drawings have to be anime versions based on how we actually look like, or can we draw people as however way we want? And will there be a prize?

if somebody comes up with a storyline i do the drawings.

You can draw them anyway you want. They don't have ta look like you. ^_^ As far as a prize, that's a very good question, and it depends on what you consider a prize. What do you guys think would qualify?

Well, Colabs are allowed, and I'm sure there are lots of people who can't draw as well as they can write. Ask around the forums- lets get a lot of people into this, not just the Artisits! ^_^

Yikes no one is joining the contests over here! I guess you should delay the deadline. The problem is that not everybody is aware of the contests. Sucks, because you have a really wonderful idea and so does others...

i want to do it but i dont know anyone, i mean i dont really talk to people and i want to draw so does anyone want me to draw them and if i draw them...how do i post it

you could view the dare thread in the Misc forum and see the pictures of the members. Then private message the person and ask their permission to draw them.
Or you could draw the people who said they dont mind drawing them.. for example blue crow and Saber2x.
or you could also draw:
me as the tomato girl
zanza as the female version of sanosuke from Rurouni Kenshin
Bakamattsu as the turnip boy
Cloud as a cloud ;p
and so on : draw them based on their user names
heh I could go on and on ;D

how to post a picture:
When you click on the button reply> then go to the additional options> then click on manage attachments> then click on browse and select the picture and then click on upload
