RPG Archives Maelstrom of Fate - Poll Thread

To run a successful RPG is to hold the interests of its players. And to hold the interests of the players, the players must have their part of the say in the progression of the RPG. Thus, this. Feel free to give your comments about the current topic that is running here - I am willing to hear your comments... unless they are unreasonable, that is.

 

I think that they should meet in the Maelstrom, then we can find out more about them as they choose to tell about their backstory. I don't mind them each having their own scenario first too, but I think it could be more interesting if they were just thrown in there. After all, that's what'll have to happen with people that join later, right?

Actually, if I pick a chocie for all beginning characters, I intend to keep it that way. The scenario doesn't really tell the whole backstory of the character - more the part how he or she actually got into the maelstrom, more than the life the s/he lived. It is both an introductory RP thing that singles out players at first, and it is also a way for me to see the styles of RP that I'll be dealing with. Anyhoo, the polls will tell.
