Inu-Yasha Major spoiler question

Alrighty, I'm just watching the series off of cartoon network and school is going to let out before the end of it. (no cable at home ) So my question is; who in the heck does Inu Yasha choose? Wouldn't it be a little difficult for him and Kagome to hook up seeing as she's from a whole different time? But Kikyo has the whole being linked to the physical world through her utter hate for the guy...would make a rocky relationship no? Anybody got an answer?

I have up to 90 episodes that have been translated for the DVD does anybody know when the next ones are out?
The second movie translated comes out (got the first one)?

How far along are the episodes in Japan?
Does Inu Yasha and Kagome get together yet?

i would like to know the answer to that too...you are right about the whole choosing thing....i guess it would be very dificult seeing as tho she is in a diffrent time but dosent eh like her im sry if im not giving you the right answer but my whole tv life is over since im grounded and i left off on the episode where ugh...sry trying to remember back that far...um they meet the leader of those wolves....i guess what im trying to say is i think he dose pick kigome seeing as how he dose have feeling for he in the strangest of ways.... ::my spelling is so off::::shy3:

First, details on Inuyasha choosing. -- Well, Kikyo's been dogging their heels, reminding Inuyasha about her. Also, lately, there've been a lot of filler episodes, which don't go with any of the manga. That, and Inuyasha's a very distracted puppy who's not sure what he wants. So it makes sense to me. ::shrugs::

-- Do you mean you have dvds with up to episode 90? Must be bootlegged, unless you've got the original Japanese dvds. The Viz release is only up to disc 4 as far as I can see at Media Play, which means only up through episode 12 or so. I don't follow bootlegs, so I can't give you any help on that. Supposedly, Viz DVD #5 is supposed to be out sometime in April, but I have to check my sources again.

-- Again, you've either got the original Japanese dvd of the first movie, or you've got the bootleg or fansub, because Viz hasn't released it. I assume the Japanese release of the second movie will be by summer time, but no guarantees on legal releases.

Thank you for those answers it helps some. i do have the original Japanese episodes to 90 and movie 1 but they are translated in english and chinese. I hope that it does some out in april. It might because there are up to 104 or so episodes in Japan. Only 90 are available. Which is box set 1-5. Thanks Again

That actually sounds like the bootlegs, then. Where are you? (i.e. what country) The Viz releases don't have Chinese and have only gone up through disc 4 (maybe 5, but I'm not sure). The official Japanese releases only have 3 episodes per disc, and only have Japanese (no English or Chinese). So you don't have the original Japanese episodes, you've probably got the bootlegs. Like (I think) I already said, I don't follow the bootlegs, so I can't give you any dates for their releases.

I am in USA. I meant to say that I have Inu Yasha sub (not dub) in english up to 90 episode. But the Six set is out. How many did you say are out in Japan?

 

Japan has up through episode 85 or so on DVD so far. What you've got, if it's got any English (even subtitles) past episode 12 or 13, is bootlegs. The Chinese translation on them just proves that. Viz is the only company in America licensed to release Inuyasha, anime and manga both, and they've only done 4 DVDs now (maybe 5, but I haven't seen #5 available anywhere yet). Since you say you've got up through episode 90 on DVD, with English subtitles, you've got the bootlegs.

Because I'm curious, what's the company that produced those? What's the company label on your DVDs?

 

The episodes are from Manga International with the green M and the TV special is from Animation Video with the red A. So far the episodes that are in bundles go from Inu Yasha TV Part 1 eps. 1-25, TV Part 2 eps. 26-38, 3 eps. 39-56, 4 eps. 57-74, 5 eps. 74-90, and 6 (just came out) 90-102. Inu Yasha's first movie is out but that was by something else looks like a red C with a tree in it.

 

Those are bootlegs, then. Being in the US, the only licensed DVDs you could get are either the original Japanese region 2 dvds--which are released by Sunrise if I'm not mistaken by the copyrights on my copy of the first Viz dvd--or the legal American releases by Viz. If you get the official Japanese releases, you won't get any subtitles and the only language track will be Japanese. Your first dvd would also have only 2 episodes on it, and the rest would average 2-3. If you got the Viz dvds, the discs so far consistently have only 3 episodes to them, and have only English subtitles and Japanese and English language tracks. Anything else is bootleg. So what you have is bootlegged.
