I didnt notice till recently that Suzu asked me if I wanted to be a CG artist. XD
I couldn't find a CG post so I made one meh self.
I will do my best to make great CG's. :D
Tell me if you want cell style shading or soft style because if it's soft style then I got start practicing on it more. I mostly do cell style because I like it but I can do soft style too.
Is there a chat program everyone is using to keep in touch about this? I use trillian so I can sign up most likely for whichever program everyone is using if there is one. But curently I only have an aim screen name: Rioken Savior007
And is there anyone else working on CG?

The CD Department have created a couple of sketch, which need cleaning before you guys start coloring, screening, CGing... So I hope you keep stand by.

I know that overall, it was agreed that screen tones would be used instead of CGing. And there was that poll that showed that most people preferred black & white over color. Therefore, shouldn't the CGers/Toners try toning the drawings rather than CGing them? Cuz when I look in the manga ring gallery, no one's tried toning yet.

For the Actual manga, it must be in screen tones, but for character designers etc color is okay, although Screentoning the CD images would be good practice. Anyways.

Here are some tips for screen toning:
    Use the Define pattern
Use Masking to select areas where you want to flood with screen tones.

    I sound pathertic lol

i guess i should show what i've done so i can get some feedback off people. it's kind of hard to get the partterns all the same size, maybe if the pics were in a higher resolution for toning, and then dropped down, 'cause at the moment i've got to try and scale all the tones, which doesn't work very well. it's too big to etch and looks kind of crap. anyway, c@c away....

Whhhooooaaa... so that's what the actual stuff might look like. ;) Yeah, I really think the Toners should practice toning and show off what they have. I wanna see more! It might even set a lil more motion going in the overall project.
