    <random>I don't know if it's the strangest... but apparently the Japanese sound effect for the noise that cicadas make is written "miiin miiin," or something of the sort. Given that I'm a very strange person, once a friend and I found that out, we incorporated the sound into daily conversation for the sake of all the weird looks we got.</random>
