Manga

So has anyone picked up the first two issues of Battle of the Planets: Manga? I'm new to Manga, but I'm getting to like it fast. It takes a little time getting used to no color, and you have to hunt around a little more for details, but it's great and I think the writing is excellent.

And most of all, in Issue #2, there is a reference to Voltron. YEAH!!!

So what do others think?

I just finished Issue #2. I have to say, I am really starting to like this style of comic.

Oh, and leave it to Jason to be the one who mentioned Voltron, just before he attempted to blow it to kingdom come.

Hey, they also mentioned Gundams too.

 

Issue #3

Has anyone read Issue #3 yet??

There are some shots of Princess going head-to-head with the Spectra bikers that I really want to see what the fans notice.

I won't say anything more on this--I will just wait for the replies.

I got Issue #3 yesterday and have gone over those pannels several times. I don't notice anything out of the ordinary. Care to offer a hint?
