Recreation Maplestory

Does anyone here have it?
My friend has recently introduced me to it, and I'm downloading it right now. I'm not really sure how to go about this; since it is my first online game.
It sounds really cool...But I'm sure that there are better ones out there.

So...
Does anyone have it? And if you do, got any pointers/advice?
