Music Matthew Bad Band

As part of the whole O-week thing here at Laurier, we had a live show on Monday night. Two bands performed. The Miniatures opened (kind of a no-name band), followed by Matt Good. Or should I saw Matt Bad? Or just Matt *******?
Anyway, Mr. Good puts on a much better show than any recordings I've heard, but he's a total jerk. He made fun of us all for going to university and said that every arts student is a communist. He even seems to treat his guitarist and bass player like morons. At least he performed, though. I understand he wasn't feeling well. There would have probably been a riot if he hadn't ... It's pretty sad when the opening act is better than the show, though.
A lot of the other frosh left in the middle of the show. I was going to, but, come on, where else would I have gone? Anyway, when he started singing Apparitions at the end, I was about ready to throw something. That's a terrible, terrible song. At least I think so.
Anyway, I stayed out of respect for the musician. I would have left if I didn't think it would have been cruel to reduce the crowd size further. There were only like 100 people left at the end of the show. Pretty sad.
What do you think of Matthew Good? Was he better in the Matthew Good Band or solo?
