    God...this game looks gorgeous...

I love seeing young Ocelot, and Snake's ability to hold guards hostage...

    Or is it Snake?

    No!

It's Big Boss, if I'm not mistaken!

    DUN DUN DUN.

crap, I was just looking into some pictures from a site, and I was too close to make a thread about it.. *sniff*

    Anyway, it looks cool allright, but I think it will be too much for me to handle ^^;

But what the heck, I have the 1st and the 2nd, why not finish my collection and buy the 3rd as well :)

(Snake is getting hotter and hotter at each part!! :p)

Well, the game looks really good. I am not sure that you are playing "Solid Snake" since the game is based on the events that happened before so you are probably playing someone else (Big boss?). Anyhow, great idea about the jungle theme but I am sceptical about that running-across-the-jungle-to-find-food part. It is gonna be rather annoying but heck, Konami is probably making it at realistic as possible.

    /me looks at my post.....

    Oh well.

Anyways, I saw this episode of X-Play(I'm just that cool) showing all the cutscenes and gameplay available...

I would kill for that game.

    It's beautiful.

    THREE DAYS!!!!

    I THINK......????!!?!?!??!?!

I can't wait. The one thing that's gonna suck is lack of radar. Damn realism.

And it's a pity this is gonna be Kojima's last Metal Gear game(excluding Acid).

    Can you say:

    BEST
    GAME
    EVER?????

    God.

This game kicks mucho asso. I'm near the end of the game(took me 2 days, hehe), I just beat The Fury, the last of the COBRAs(not including The Joy and The Sorrow.)

I think the best thing is it took me an HOUR to beat The End. And it took me at least 5 tries to finish off The Fear.

    I'm on normal...woohoo.

    And

    Spoiler:

I think that EVA is also playing the role of Sokolov's wife.

    And

    OCELOT'S A PUSSY.

    God. But he's still cool.

You see, that's the problem with not having a PS2 and living in Europe.

MGS3 realease date in Europe is due to the first half of next year...

    First off:

    Teddz, you are missing OUT.

    Second off:

Metal Gear Solid 2 only sucked thanks to Raiden. Other than that, it was great.

Now, for massive amounts of spoilers, since I beat this game roughly 30 minutes ago.

Ok, so first off, you're Big Boss. Proof: Your eye gets shot out(Big Boss only has one eye in the other Metal Gears, remember?). Second off, the President, at the end, awards you a medal and calls you Big Boss.

Ocelot is an American. Or at least, worked for them. He was an NSA codebreaker who defected with another man, their codenames were ADAM and EVA. Still not sure who EVA is(it's not the lady who says it's her in the game).

    What else....

Well, the original members of the Wiseman's Committee/Patriots/Philosophers did all die off by 1930, but more people semi-replaced them, from mostly the US, but the originals were from the US, USSR, and China.

That's all I care to divulge. But it's quite a bit to swallow.

Im glad to hear its a good game. The guys from penny-arcade said it was the equivalent of laying out in your back yard for hours then having your best friend stomp on you balls every hour.Thats almost an exact quote.

The End was the best boss fight. EVER. Hands down.

Just the fact that he's stalking you as much as you him makes it REALLY hair-raising. Though, as a character, he wasn't all that interesting...the boss fight *was*.

MGS3 has sweeped the floor and has raised the standard for well..tactical espionage games.
The graphics is barely toutching it's limits of the PS2's hardware, beleive me I crashed the PS2 with this game. And if you've already beaten the game, There's always Hideo Kojima's great sense of humor.
Play the game, and read some FAQ's to know what I mean.

Hopefully Hideo Kojima and Konami will use what they learned from MGS3 and will implement it into their new games. :)
