Creative Writing Midnight duel

I'm back to my more usual poems...


Your magic runs within your blood,
Your soul is twisting in the endless flood.
The words of power leave your lips,
The magic rushing to your fingertips.

You give your enemy a twisted smile,
Knowing the fate of your rival.
The magic gushes from your unbeatable mind,
Overpowering others of your kind.

The power of darkness is on your brain,
Shattering you in an endless rain.
Only vampiric blood sustains you now,
You challenge death with a meaningful growl.

You overcome the light, it's all yours now,
The power of it all on your dying brow.
Was it worth it to feel the power,
You life hanging on the limb of a dying flower.

The fruit of your life is in deaths hands,
Your soul must submit to it's demands.
And though you resist with all your might,
You follow death on a midnight scythe.

OK,This may not be a great poem but it is SOOOOO much beeter than my last one.
