Inu-Yasha Mod Report

I've havent moderated this thread for cuz im busy with school work. So I came back to check this Inuyasha forum and like I said in the other forum : its full of spam...
So this thread is going to be a long list of what I deleted "not edited" I have warned you by pms and posting a thread "Whats going on"

Lets begin with

Ranma 1/2 - wallpapers anyone ? .. The best and fastest way to find wallpapers instead of wasting valuable bandwidth space is by going to this site http://animewallpapers.com or search in google or yahoo .. I doubt that you have not heard of these two popular search engines

Marie-chan and Angel Baby .. Check the previous threads before posting one. Both of you posted the same topic of "Inuyasha Cancled" . These sites will be merged with the "Inu-Yasha removal from CN" and some of the posts will be deleted

So far I havent checked for any one lined or one word spam posts. So If you see any spamming please pm me .. I always check my email.

 

Hi folks. I may be rather new here, but I'm not new to message boards and I hope to do a good job as co-mod with Toomaa. ^_^

xkim182x, I deleted the thread "well," since it seems you hit the "new thread" button instead of "post reply."

If anyone sees any spam and Toomaa is unavailable to mod it, feel free to PM me about it. ^_^

Could you please refrain from using profanity in your posts? (reference to "Who is 4 Inuyasha" thread) I know it wasn't too serious, so I simply edited the post (put in asterisks). We do get younger visitors here.

Hm. Might be good to post this now, before I forget. Should've posted yesterday.

For those who haven't noticed yet, I will reiterate something I know has been pointed out before. Please check for existing threads on a topic you want to discuss before starting a new thread. Duplicate threads just take up extra space. Yes, Kegomai, this is why I closed your thread as I mentioned when I closed it. There was an existing, longer thread.

Thank you for your cooperation and the wonderful job you're doing to keep the Inuyasha forum rather spam-free. ^_^

Ok, another thing I took care of, and am posting here as an extra heads-up even though I also post the warning/reasons/etc. within the thread itself....

Please do not double-post. There is an "edit" button on your individual posts that you can use to edit that post. You don't need to post a reply to yourself to add to what you were trying to say.

Also, on that note, don't double-post with the exact same text. I understand if it's an accident, and you can let me (or, I'm sure, Toma) know through PM if you can't take care of the duplicate post yourself. Double-posting identical text to raise your post count is not a very good idea.

Yes, Zero Enna, this means you too. Check for existing threads before posting a duplicate. The other "Inuyasha Movie 3" thread was even on the first page when you posted your movie 3 thread.

Guys, please stay as much on-topic within a thread as you can. Yes, Ranma1/2, I'm addressing you mainly, for asking another member's age (without posting about the topic itself) in a thread. If that's all you wanted to post, use the PM button to send a private message to the member, or catch them in a chatroom. The threads are for discussion and such. If you do want to ask that within a thread, be sure to post constructively about the topic at hand as well.

The off-topic posts in that thread have been deleted.

For those who haven't noticed yet, this is the Inuyasha forum. Threads solely about other series (including DBZ) belong in their respective forums, and in Miscellaneous if they don't have a specific forum. I deleted the "who here likes dbz?" thread, as it did not belong here, and has most likely already been asked in the DBZ forum.

I merged the two quiz threads together since the Shichinintai one took a turn for general Inuyasha questions, about half an hour or so after the other one was started. Posts within the new quiz thread explains it. I might close it soon to start up a new quiz thread with a few set guidelines, but I'll see where this goes first. ^_^

I took care of Inu-Loves-Kago's triple-post problem, since all three were identical posts (I deleted the two extras).

And on the same note as Toma's comment about the thread-reporting...if you're going to report a thread to a mod, please make sure you explain why in some form of detail (or at least respond to the mod's PM when they ask you for details). If it was a mistake, just say so.
