The new installment of the MK series is called "Mortal Kombat:Shaoloin Monks". The type of this game is not know, but it is know that it may be an RPG, and that it will feature the story from the "Mortal Kobmat II" (Sega Genesis/Aracade) game.

Hopefully, this game will be as good as all MK games have been.

What are your thoughts/comments in this game?

I've not been impressed with the latest few Mortal Kombat games, to be honest. In my opinion, they stopped being good after N64's "Mortal Kombat Trilogy". If it indeed is an RPG, I suppose that could turn things around; the Mortal Kombat storyline definitely is good.

Things could trun around indeed. Most RPG's are really good, and if you combine that with Mortal Kombat, well, you preety much have a really great game there.

Regarding MK Trilogy being the best in the MK series, i think Mythologies Sub Zero (N64) is the best one.

Mortal Kombat went **** after MK3, they should stopped the game right there. The problem is that a combination with RPG and fighting games never work out (MK: Sub Zero). It just doesn't fit together.

Spend your money on Soul Calibur II, or the upcoming Tekken 5.

I never said it was the best. I said the games stopped being good after that one.

I also own Soul Calibur II, and I think it's better than any mortal kombat game.
