Anime Most misunderstood anime character?

Do you like a character everyone else hates; and you know with all your might that that character is just grossly misunderstood? I feel that way about Chibi-Usa (Sailor Moon). I mean, she's just a lonely, frightened little girl.
Anyway, who do YOU think is misunderstood?

I think Vash(the stampede) is vastly misunderstood. I mean, alot of people dont hate'em, But com'on. Look at his rep. They mak'em sound like a cold blooded killer, but he's really nothing but a big sweetheart with a good gunshot.

i reckon Ryoga from Ranma 1/2 cause he has never been out with a girl yet he's so cute..^_^

I find kaiba to be VERY misunderstood. Ya realize he's got a fear of rejection!? It's why he shuts himself out form other people except Mokuba. Everyone thinks it's because he's a mean person, no, it's because he's afraid of being rejected. it just so happens he's cold and cruel as well. But that's only because he was abused by his adoptive father, who he eventually killed. But since he does not talk about his problems, no one else in the show realizes what has happened to him and therefore do not understand him.

Another misunderstood character is Asuka from Evangelion. She's the most scared of the Eva children simply because she does not tlak about her problems.

people, even in real life, are misunderstood because they don't tlak about their problems, feelings or anything else.

 

I think the most misunderstood anime character was probably Keitaro from Love Hina. The poor guy gets pummeled millions of times a day for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. We should all show our pity for the battered sempai.

Vash (yup, typical 'saves them but they still hate him' kind of thing)
Yugi (just cause he's small, people take advantage of him)
Shippou (poor little kid is even forgot by Rumiko-sama!)

Those are my top ones. But I'll pretty much vote for all those who get beat up and bullied cause they're geeks or small. I know there are more of them out there but I forgot a lot of them since I haven't watch those other series' in a while.

 

I think the most misunderstood anime character is Uzumaki Naruto. He just likes Ramen and has the weirdest moves that turn him into the opposite gender. Akira is another one, he just wants to have fun, but he seems like he is creating hell on earth.

I think some people misunderstand the meaning of misunderstood (hahaha....) or either have a different view of it. To me misunderstood means people don't understand the way you think, the way you act, and believe it for other reasons, not knowing there's probably some hurtful reason they're the way they are. I've looked at some of your guy's of who's the most misunderstood anime character and i soemtimes can't believe what you're giving me. Vash I can agree on though, he is fairly misunderstood, but I don't think Yugi is misunderstood, he's just small, and because people take advantage of him, doens't mean he's misunderstood. He talks about everything wrong in his life so his friends understand him. But for a character like Asuka, Shinji thinks she's just a mean girl that hates him, no she's a girl that's using this mean attitude she cooked up as a shield to protect her heart from being hurt and trashed again. Same goes for characters such as kaiba, Juri, (from Utena), etc...

Being reminded of Juri, Utena misunderstands Juri all the time. She doesn't understand Juri is fighting with her love for Shiori inside of her and that she is hurt deeply by innocence. Juri's fairly misunderstood as well.

Blah... guess everyone has a different idea of being misunderstood....

i saw the most understood character is from reign the conquerer. i think his name is Alexander the Great. everybody says he's gay or if not gay than really ugly and looks like a girl.

i personnally like the show its just that he does look a little feminine.

I peronally dont think he's gay. I just got so...I dont know a word for it. Disgusted was too strong a word. But then sick isn't strong enough.

I'd have to say Ketaro Urashima is the most understood in the sense that everything that happens to him in the Hina Household is almost always pure accident. But the other members of the dorm don't know that, or if they know that, they don't want to believe it (that amount of accidents that guy gets into is just astounding).

 

I'd agree that Ryoga (Ranma 1/2) and Vash (Trigun) are both misunderstood characters.

 

I, with other people, think that Vash is very misunderstood. People just dont get him... ya know?

 

Shoot. How could I forget good ol' Naruto? He's totally as misunderstood as Vash is. He was rejected from a lot and people think his mischief is annoying when it's just to get their attention since he can't have their love. If I were there, I would adopt poor Naruto
