Which animated movie (that's non-anime) do you think is the most overrated one ever made and why do you think it is?

The original Vampire Hunter D. I dunno why, really, but it just bored me. I heard so many good things about it...and I borrow it and tried to watch it three times. I slept through each one.

Yup. Vampire Hunter D. It makes me skeptical about watching Bloodlust, but, I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, anyway.

Don't worry. Bloodlust is a lot better than the original VHD.

The most overrated animated movie I think is Monsters, Inc. (does that count?). I kept hearing about how great it was, but I just counldn't get into it. Sinbad was another animated movie I just couldn't enjoy. The animation kind of sucked and they screwed up the mythology just enough for it to get on my nerves. :anger2:

Finding Nemo. I didn't think it was that funny or anything, and I don't see what all the rage was about. I'm so tired of hearing lines from that movie...

It's really hard to say. There have been a lot of animated flicks that I enjoyed, but still think they were built up way more than they should have been. For example, as much as I loved Shrek, it got way too much press, what with the HUGE stars list in the cast, all that hubbub about its animation and all that other stuff. Still, it was a great movie.
Overall, though, I have to say Snow White. Sure, it was Disney's first full-length animated film, but the fact of the matter is that it's just a bad movie.
